Re: [cdt-dev] Micro Version of Service Release (8.0.0 instead of 8.0.1)

Nope, that was by accident and we can’t fix it now (or I would have ;)). The date in the fourth digit gives you a better clue of when it was built. It is 8.0.1. Trust me J.

Subject: [cdt-dev] Micro Version of Service Release (8.0.0 instead of 8.0.1)

Hello

If I want to install CDT in my Eclipse (via Install New Software...) the newest version available (at Indigo - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo) is  8.0.0.201109151620. I actually thought the latest release was 8.0.1 (Indigo SR1).

If I check the installation and compare it to http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/indigo/dist/cdt-master-8.0.1.zip it seems to be the same release.

I don't know whether this is on purpose, I've just a misconception about CDT version numbers or is just a slip. If so, is it even possible to fix the micro version number?

Regards

Thomas
