Unless you cloned with a particular filter command you can't clone a repository without some projects. It's not how Git works. 

There may be some projects in your clone that you haven't imported into your workspace however.

That's it... but it's not in my repo working directory! I don't know why. In this particular repo, I only have 7.0.x checked out, does that have anything to do with it?

In CVS, there's a cdt.core.linux project that has the source for all the core fragments for the various linux platforms. It doesn't seem to be in Git. Was this missed in the conversion?
