[cdt-dev] Git repos link in CDT FAQ 
Hi all

I just wondered why (for read-only access) the CDT FAQ proposes to
checkout the cdt git repos listed in  http://dev.eclipse.org/git/
instead of the one listed in http://git.eclipse.org.
The first list leads to repos
git://dev.eclipse.org/org.eclipse.cdt/org.eclipse.cdt.git which does not
contain a cdt_8_0 branch, whereas the second list leads to
git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/cdt/org.eclipse.cdt.git which does contain
a cdt_8_0 branch.

Seems confusing to me. Why guide newcomers to incomplete/old
repositories?
