[cdt-dev] CDT indexing - could it cause a load average of ~200?

Hi,

 

We are working on Linux servers (connecting from Windows using NX client). Used eclipse version: CDT 7.0.2.

 

Today about one minute after starting indexing a big C++ project, Linux server stopped responding and its load average grew to ~200. Unfortunately we are not able to point which process caused it. Because it happens just after indexing started, I was wandering could it be caused by eclipse CDT indexer? Did anyone encounter such behavior in the past?
