Official EGit User_Guide is very good. I recommend to read it even if you already using egit. I found a solution to my problem and a few new tricks reading it recently.

As we march towards moving to git this summer, it's of course important that everyone knows how to use it. Also, if there are deficiencies in it, we should identify them now so we can work with the egit team to get them addressed before we cut over.
