I suppose there's no chance of getting the patch from https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=333537 
 ("[Template Engine] Macro expansion in conditional process groups  
does not work") into it?

(I'm not familiar with Eclipse and CDT release procedures, so no hard  
feelings if there isn't. It's not extremely important, but getting it  
in before 8.0 would be nice.)
