Re: [cdt-dev] Re: Llvm project has lldb debugger

Well, as a Windows user, I would first love to see a binary of the highly praised clang to be provided. Even though, you currently support mainly GCC, maybe the CDT team and user base could put a bit 'pressure' to the acceptance of clang on windows?

I guess, the majority of developers on Windows would prefer a binary, than taking the hassle to compile that beast themselve.

Looks like lldb has just been released and is compiled into XCode 4. Seems to be more performant than gdb and doesn't have the restrictive licensing of gdb.

Will post a public link to the page (probably somewhere at http://llvm.org) when I find it.
The project has been announced at:

The debugger itself is at http://lldb.llvm.org
