Ok. The annoying thing is that hacking with the CVS repository like
this will break the git import:
git://dev.eclipse.org/org.eclipse.cdt/org.eclipse.cdt.git

I guess either the CVS repository should be tidied up before people
start relying on the read-only copy, or we should postpone the
clean-up until after the move to git.
