Re: [cdt-dev] CDT Logo proposal

+1. A distinct CDT is long overdue and this one looks very good. I see some imperfections though.

First, "eclipse" metaphor is lost (defined as the obscuration of the light of the sun by the intervention of a planet). Only irrelevant "planet" metaphor is left.
Second, CDT was meant to be the base for other languages not C/C++ only, such as Fortran and others. I am not sure how much of it has been materialized though.

Hello all,

We would like to propose a new CDT logo that could be used in a more consistent way:
- The icon of the C/C++ EPP package on the downloads page
- The icon in Help->About
- The logo on the CDT page (which at the moment is a bit like Eclipse Modeling Tools package)
- In documentation

The logo is more representative of the project (C/C++) while keeping an Eclipse feel.

Thanks to Andree-Anne Boisclair for creating the logo.
