When I put this in:-

(gdb) interpreter-exec mi "-var-update --all-values var1"

the result is:-

&"mi_cmd_var_update: Usage: NAME.\n"
^error,msg="mi_cmd_var_update: Usage: NAME."

I am not sure what you mean by which CDT. How do I decipher which CDT I am
using?
