Re: [cdt-dev] Must check-out two new plugins

Try it and let me know if that works for you ;-)

I'll play ignorant for a second. Wouldn't you just get a wiki account
and edit the page to point to a new version of the .psf?

Thanks, guys. My question was no on how to update the content of the
psf file (I figured that would be easy enough). It was about how to
physically put up a new version of the file on the wiki

I'm going to look into what Andrew has suggested.

Hi,

AFAIK, there is no tool that incrementally updates a PSF. You
pretty much just have to select all of the projects that are
already in the PSF, then use the export wizard ("Team -> PSF") to
overwrite it with the new set.

But what I do in these situations is just to select the new
projects to add, export them to a scratch PSF, then copy/paste the
few lines of XML into the PSF that I want to update. It has worked
well for me.

HTH,

Christian

Yes; I have a question into Doug about how to change the psf file.
Will do so as soon as I hear from him.

Hi,

for those that might have missed it, John has added two new
plugins to improve sharing between DSF-GDB and CDI-GDB.
If you notice that some debug plugins no longer compile it's
because starting now, you will need to also checkout:

org.eclipse.cdt/all/org.eclipse.cdt.gdb
org.eclipse.cdt/all/org.eclipse.cdt.gdb.ui

Do we need to update that special file that indicates which
plugins people need to checkout for CDT?
