[cdt-dev] Filtering build commands from console?

Is it possible to install a filter on the Console view in Eclipse, so that certain 
build commands aren't visible?

I see the class ViewerFilter, but that doesn't look like it works with the 
class that implements the Console view.  

Any suggestions welcome.
