[cdt-dev] How to set language mappings to a file programmatically?

Hi,

 

FileLanguageMappingPropertyPage uses ProjectLanguageConfiguration.setFileMappings() to modify file's language mappings. The comment for setFileMappings() says "This method is used internally by CDT and should not be used outside of the CDT framework".

Is there another way to set language mappings programmatically?
