Install Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede) and try it with that.
Well, I am not sure about those version numbers:
Om the homepage of Eclipse I downloaded
3.5 Stream Stable Build 3.5M1 (Thu, 7 Aug 2008)
eclipse-SDK-3.5M1-linux-gtk.tar.gz
After installation the opening page says:
(logo) Eclipse Ganymede - (opening screen) 'Welcome to Eclipse 3.4'
and also under: Help / About Eclipse SDK says: Version 3.4.0
(build ID I20080807-1402)
The same thing was true with the previous version a year ago,
then I downloaded 3.4 Stream Stable Build) 3.4M1 (9 Aug 2007)
eclipse-SDK-3.4M1-linux-gtk.tar.gz
and after installation:
(logo) Eclipse Europa - (opening screen) 'Welcome to Eclipse 3.3'
and Help / About Eclipse SDK says: Version 3.3.0
Anyway, the version I have running is Ganymede, 3.4
But why does CDT not want to install ?
