[cdt-dev] status of patch for EFS

Hi Markus, Emmanuel, and everyone else who might be interested.
Just wanted to tell you that I didn't forget about making a patch for you
this week. Unfortunately I caught a bad case of pneumonia at EclipseCon
and have been in bed most of this week, so I wasn't able to start working
on this again until yesterday afternoon.
Markus and I had a conversation at EclipseCon where I showed him my work in
progress, and he suggested some changes which I am working on. I hope to
have the public API changes he suggested to provide better backwards
compatibility done today and provide a patch of everything for review, but
the changes to the internals he suggested (not encoding URIs as strings)
will not be done yet. Since we are free to change internals whenever we
wish I do not see it as a problem to do this after M6.
I will keep you posted as to my progress today.
Again, sorry for the delay, there was not much I could do about it.
