right on time Emanuel Graf from the University of Rapperswil (www.hsr.ch) has provided us a patch

for an ASTRewriter and another one for an initial refactoring based on the first version of the refactoring

infrastructure. 

This work is based on a multi-year effort of Peter Sommerlad and his team. Thank you for contributing
