Re: [cdt-dev] Plugin Fest 2008

Is this deliberately organised to be the same week as the Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose?

Hey gang,
Here's an invitation from Ian Skerret, the marketing dude at Eclipse. Myself and a number of other committers were at the PluginFest last year and it was a blast. We got to plug our commercial products in with other commercial plugins and to see the Eclipse ecosystem working first hand. And we got to talk about some CDT things. Please raise this to the attention of your bosses and see if they'll let you come.
*Eclipse Plugin Fest for Embedded and Mobile Products*

The Eclipse PluginFest is a two day developer event to test interoperability and compatibility between Eclipse based plugins and products. The goal of the workshop is to further enable the tool chain that supports the software development lifecycle for mobile and embedded development. Therefore, participation is open to organizations that produce or use Eclipse based solutions addressing the embedded and mobile markets.

Last year we organized a similar event that was very successful and included 20 different organizations participating <http://wiki.eclipse.org/PluginFest_2007>. This year the event will be held April 16-17 in Sunnyvale, CA at the Wind River offices. If you would like to participate, please add your name to the Eclipse Plugin Fest 2008 wiki <http://wiki.eclipse.org/PluginFest_2008>.

We invite all Eclipse member companies to participate in both of these programs. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks

Ian
