RE: [cdt-dev] Newbie: Java compliance settings forCDTplugindevelopment?

I've committed updates to the four debug plugins and the launch one to set the compliance level to 1.5. The core plugin has it set that way, and since we build all of CDT with the same JDK, seems to me having one plugin require 1.5 effectively puts the requirement on all plugins.

I am sure that the compiler compliance level for cdt.debug.ui is set to

plugin was created.
I am using generics and other Java 5 features for the disassembly that I
planning to contribute to CDT.

The cdt.core has move to 5.0. I'm not sure what else. Sounds like you
can proceed with making cdt.debug.* 5.0 too.

On that topic...does anyone know how far exactly we've gotten on using
1.5 to build the HEAD sources? At this point, if I want to introduce
some generics code to a debugger plugin, is it just a matter of
adjusting the project settings?
