[cdt-dev] New launch mechanism

Hi,

I don’t know whether this is more applicable to the eclipse platform group but hopefully someone can help me out here - since upgrading to 3.4M1, the run/debug last launched (F11/Ctrl + F11) option has disappeared and the normal run/debug options are back, however when I try to do either, I get a “launch debug configuration selection“ dialog which lists two debuggers – my one and the gdbserver debugger. It then automatically tries launching using the C/C++ Local Application configuration which is wrong as I have my own configuration which I need to use.

Is the default launch configuration now determined by the project type? If so, does anyone know how to set mine to be the default? It seems like the old method of setting up a launch configuration once manually and then pressing F11 after this was a lot easier.

Thanks,

Mike Wrighton
