Thanks Mikhail, that would be great. Our biggest concern is that this is a pretty major change and we will need leave enough time to work out any issues that arise. My hope is to have this as part of M5 which needs to be delivered on Feb 16. I’m sure we’ll need some time to shake out the bugs.

Hi, Doug and all,

 

New Project model code should be ready for check-in by the end of next week.

Patch is going to include changes based on Dave's feedback (IMakeTarget API moved to make.core and Build system plug-ins restructured) and most functionality.

 

Please let us know this week if there are other feedbacks we need to take into account working on next iteration.

We should get a status update on 3.1.2 and 4.0 M5. I’d like to quickly talk about 3.1 past 3.1.2 for companies that would like to continue to integrate fixes on that stream.

                                                                               

We definitely need to talk about what to do with Mikhail S’s new project model. We need to decide when it should be checked in. If that’s not soon, I’m afraid we’ll have to push it off until next year.
