the api docs can be generated by downloading the source code and genrating the docs

I'm new to the cdt plugin and I have a lot of questions that I couldn't (easily) find an answer in the web.
Is there a place where I can find an advanced user manual or a mailing where I can ask for help ?
(It seems that this mailing list for example is for the cdt developers, not users)
