I've opened up a bug (actually an enhancement) on Bugzilla, and
submitted a patched version of the NewMakeCCProjectWizard class. 
The bug # is: 158372. 
I've also tested it with my own plug-in to make sure that the wizard
does work properly using the new constructor.  Is there anything
else I should do to see that this will eventually get into the CDT?

The extension point should be 'org.eclipse.ui.newWizards', someone
subconsiously sneeked 'cradle' in ;-)

Oh oh! Sorry about that. Cradle was being naughty :-)
