RE: [cdt-dev] FYI: Eclipse 3.2.1 RC schedule

My $0.02 CDN...

Based on both the description and looking at the patch, I think this is
small and low risk enough that I don't see why it couldn't go into 3.1.1.
I look at the new feature rule as more of a guideline :-)

Others can feel free to disagree but that's my take on it.

Chris,

There are several bugs I was planning to fix for 3.1.1. One of them
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=136896) is a patch to
support the binary format for variables and registers. It wasn't applied
to 3.1 because of legal issues. It was approved shortly after 3.1 was
released. It is formally a new feature and I am not sure if it should be
in 3.1.1. What do you think?

Thanks,
Mikhail K.

Since we've talked before about doing CDT 3.1.1 at roughly the same time
as Eclipse 3.2.1, I thought I'd forward this...

Release Candidate Builds toward Eclipse 3.2.1 Wednesday, August 16 -
3.2.1 RC1 build Build toward 3.2.1RC1 at 8 am.

 Wednesday, August 23 - 3.2.1 RC2 build
Build toward 3.2.1RC2 at 8 am if map files are updated.
goal: a good build for the test pass on Monday, August 28.

 Wednesday, August 30 - 3.2.1 RC3 build
Build toward 3.2.1RC3 at 8 am.
