Bonjour,
   Opening an element like a binary/archive in the C view can take a long
time if the binary is big and since the action is done in the UI thread it
can freeze the IDE for a while.  Attach is a proposed solution, (Note: this
was done last year and but should be applicable to the current repository
and of course it needs more testing)
