Re: [cdt-dev] timeouts while debugging w/ latest I-builds

Chris,

I haven't tried the latest builds, but I have seen some strange behaviour. It seems the transition to the new platform features won't be flawless.

Subject: [cdt-dev] timeouts while debugging w/ latest I-builds

Anyone noticing a lot of timeouts and general flakiness trying to debug using CygWin GDB with the latest I-builds?

I’m trying to use last night’s CDT build with the Eclipse 3.2 build from yesterday and getting all sorts of problems, especially if I have the disassembly view open.  The disassembly view never shows any content and times out.  Variables and registers views update about 50% of the time when stepping, the rest of the time they usually are just empty.  Occasionally they will give a timeout message.  Once you start getting any of the timeouts your debug session is pretty much hosed and you’re not able to step or do much of anything except terminate.
