[cdt-dev] Setting the selected project type in CProjectPlatformPage ?

I would like to suggest the following enhancement to the 
CProjectPlatformPage:

An API-method to set the selected Project Type. This would allow
project-creation-wizards, that use this page, to set the initial 
selection of the platformSelection Combo to a default value, meaningful 
to the type of project that is to be created.

I've attached a patch with a possible implementation of the above to 
this bugzilla entry: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=110423
