RE: [cdt-dev] heads up: 106036

Things have gotten a bit more complicated than we anticipated and I
don't want to hold up testing unnecessarily.  My feeling is to retarget
this to 3.0 for now rather than RC3 and let the build go forward.

Mikhail has now gone off on vacation.  As far as I know Leo is back
Monday.  I'm running out of bright ideas at the current moment as to how
to fix this in a palatable way for 3.0.  Rather than push too hard and
make a hacked up blunder in order to get a fix in today, I think it's
prudent to wait until I can confer with Leo, especially since we have a
self imposed policy on MBS from now to GA to have mandatory reviews by
the others before any check-ins occur.  On Monday we'll decide if/how
this gets fixed, or move it to Future.

If anyone feels strongly that we should continue to delay the build to
wait for further word on this, speak up now.
