I agree with Chris. When I hit F3, I'd like it to do the same as it does
in the JDT, open the definition of the thing. Sure it is also the
declaration, but you have to ask yourself, why did you hit F3. It is
hardly ever to look at the prototype, since you've managed to figure it
out enough to put in the reference. It is to look at the implementation
of the thing to figure out what it does.
My pet peeve is when F3 opens up the forward declaration of a class.
What use is that?

That being said, considering the other threads on this list in the
past day concerning the evolution of CDT and the importance of a
meaningful end game plan, I would not recommend it at this time.
