RE: [cdt-dev] Open Definition/Declaration Bug?

The best way to address this issue is to raise a bug at http://bugs.eclipse.org/ with simple instructions explaining how to reproduce the bug.

You don't have to use any proprietary code, a simple code snippet like:

//***********************
int x;

int foo() {
        return x;
}
//***********************

will work just fine.  What you are seeing is probably caused by the way you have things set up via network drives.  So the PR needs to explain how to set up your workspace in order to reproduce the bug.

I can't paste you the code, as this is closed source, sorry (even though,
its a copy of the real source for testing CDT). I created a new C/C++ Std.
Make Project, created a new folder source which links to some sublevel
directory on drive D: (see below comments). I added the real absolute
pathnames of the sub-directories to the "Include-Paths and symbols" section.

> Are you using a project that has mapped network files?

My eclipse is located on a network drive, so is the workspace.
H: is my home drive on network. Under H:\eclipse is my eclipse installation,
H:\eclipse\workspace contains my workspace. The project itself is created in
there, but I have linked the project's sources from some subdir underneath
drive d:.

You are right, I meant "Open Definition", was a copy/paste typo.
