I'm not even sure that those tests are
up-to-date anymore. Dave Inglis may have some better insight, but we could
probably just remove those tests from the suite entirely.

I'd like to see the StandardBuildTests in the core.tests plugin moved to
a make.core.tests plugin.   
Right now, with our AST2 branch, I am seeing standard make API changes
that the branch does not have, thus causing compile errors.
