Haven't heard of gtkmm, but I'll take a look at the existing docs. I get the pop-up data from property files derived from the library docs. Unfortunately, the docs of most libs don't exist in an easily parsed form, so it can be difficult to create the prop files.

When you say kick it out to real world, do you mean contribute it to the CDT? Or will you use another vehicle to deliver it?

I don't know for sure, although I suspect the former. I'm a fairly recent addition to the Red Hat Eclipse shop and I don't know what the usual practices are.
