[cdt-dev] Eclipse BOF at the embedded systems conference

Hi all,

just a quick request for interest and feedback on a
potential "birds of a feather" session at ESC. We've been
having discussions internally, as well as with
Rational and the tools PMC (John D.), on holding such an event.
The current plan (which will be finalized in the next few days),
is to hold the BOF session on Thursday April 24th, 11:30-2, at
ESC San Francisco. We've been able to round up a few folks to
do some presentations; the proposed agenda is as follows:

- John Duimovich (Tools PMC lead) - Eclipse overview
- Sebastien Marineau - CDT overview
- Cory Bialowas - CDT and rational activities
- **demo/presentation** (open)
- **demo/presentation** (open)
- free discussion ("ask the experts")
- Open CDT planning meeting

I'm looking for a few more folks who will be attending ESC and
want to speak (these are 15-20 minute presentations or demos, nothing
too formal). This will be a technical "developer to developer"
forum, so we won't be doing product pitches.
I'm also looking to get a feel for the number of people from
the CDT development community who'd be interested in attending.

Note that we will be targetting the invites to ESC attendees and
exhibitors, and are looking to generate awareness and interest for
Eclipse and CDT in the embedded developer community.

I'm looking for feedback on interest, participation, topics, and
presenters!

Thanks,

Sebastien
