[cdt-debug-dev] The fate of the current GDB support in CDT

How about splitting GDB support into a seperate plugin from CDT since
it will probably be superseeded by the Windriver stuff?

There is a need to continue to improve the GDB support while waiting
for the Windriver(year/s?) to get done.

There are  lots of users of the current GDB stuff that are either
happy or only need minimal changes. Splitting it into a seperate
plugin with a seperate release cycle to CDT would help get fixes
applied.

This would also remove the current GDB support from the next CDT
release, which should hopefully, mean more free resources to work on
the Windriver stuff.

Any other bright ideas to get GDB support in CDT unstuck would be most welcome.
