Re: [cbi-dev] CBI Project Lead

Apparently we need to conduct a vote on this mailing list to elect new leadership.

Is anyone in favour (+1), neutral (0), or in opposition (-1) of Alexander and I co-leading the CBI project, in light of Thanh's resignation?

Thanks,

Denis

I will gladly step up and co-lead, but I would need some assistance for the
releng aspects.
I can help with that.

That's fantastic, Alexander! Thank you for stepping up.

In the immediate terms, since Thanh is no longer at the Foundation, I need help (not necessarily from you, but if you have some minutes to spare) supporting CBI while we bring someone up to speed. Here's what I'm thinking:

Committers are currently filing bugs against EF > Community > Hudson for all their build-related issues.

Over time, I'd like to see that bug category reserved for infrastructure requests (new HIPP, new hudson job, bad permissions, etc) and build issues filed against CBI (or posted to this list) so that more people can help out. As it stands, Matt and I will struggle to help with Maven, Tycho, Sonar and other build issues.

Hi Everyone,

As I am leaving the Foundation (see my announcement here [1]) the CBI Project
Lead role will need to be filled and we will need to Nominate a new PL.
Would anyone in the community be interested in stepping in?

Thanh
