Re: [cbi-dev] CBI-Build fails

Ok

the correct definition is:

<target name="getJavadocPath">
     <available file="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc.exe" property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc.exe"/>
     <available file="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc" property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc" />
     <available file="${java.home}/bin/javadoc" property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/bin/javadoc" />
</target>

Looking at the buildDoc.xml I guess the problem is how the javadoc
executable is looked up:

<target name="getJavadocPath">
                <available file="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc.exe"
property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc.exe"/>
                <available file="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc"
property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc" />
        </target>

but on OS-X is has be (at least that's what I guess it is):

<target name="getJavadocPath">
                <available file="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc.exe"
property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc.exe"/>
                <available file="${java.home}/bin/javadoc"
property="javadoc" value="${java.home}/../bin/javadoc" />
        </target>

I've started a new build let's see how far this will get me.

Hi Tom,

The short answer is you now need to declare a toolchains.xml
instructions can be found here [1].

There was a recent commit that caused this issue in bug [2] which is
still being looked into to fix to allow users to not require the
toolchains.xml file.
