Re: [cbi-dev] Building 3.8 stream

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the info.

Should I create a bug or what should be the outcome of this finding?

I expected that the build should generate something at least "very similar" to the "standard" 3.8 package content? Or let say it differently: why the "custom 3.8" build is including plugins not included in the classic Eclipse build? Is it using a different source mapping/scope? Is there any written definition *what* should be in the "custom 3.8/4.2" CBI builds?

3) Looks like the extra two org.apache.lucene* plugins added to the custom
build (as described above) cause this error on help indexing:

java.lang.AbstractMethodError: org.apache.lucene.analysis.**
TokenStream.incrementToken()Z

That just means that lucene 3.5.x is included, and we need a special flag
in the eclipse.ini to work with it:

*Bug 382574* <https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=382574> - An
internal error occurred during: "Indexing help...". Help system needs
property set if Lucene 3.x present
