Yeah, I know that testing UI is tricky and expected output probably doesn't worth efforts which are required to do a good test suite. 
But I thought there could be a set of tests (maybe unit tests) for non-UI parts like model or validator. For example, validator can be tested against BPEL spec.
Actually there are test suites in progress for the bpel validator. But that's the only thing that has any such things. 
But if there is no test suite then there is no test suite yet :)

unfortunately not yet. We talked about that recently, but havent taken any
action yet. We also thought that having UI-tests automated is very tricky.
But we are planning on some kind of a test suite in the near future.
Do you have any idea on how UI Testing (GEF, not only SWT) can be automated
?
