Hi,

What version of BIRT are you using? The BIRT sample DB is suppose to remove itself in 2.3, in case that the eclipse is shutdown normally.

For early version of BIRT, you have to remove it from temp directory by yourself. Or you can choose not to use Sample DB, that is, remove plugin org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.sampledb*.jar and org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.sampledb.ui*.jar from the /plugins directory of your eclipse installation directory.

Thanks.

Lin

Hi,

I’ve encountered problem with BIRTSampleDB_xxxx directory. These directories remain in tmp directory and large amount of them can lead in troubles.

Is there any way how to disable creation of these directories?

Thank you in advance,

Milan
