I'm happy to help out on this project in any way I can.  Right now I have a customer who's interested in upgrading to the latest version (they use the viewer war), so I'm going to follow the instructions for building the war and see if I can get it to work.

I have a full BIRT running in 4.19

Before installing BIRT, also add the jetty 9x repo to the list of update sites

http://download.eclipse.org/jetty/updates/jetty-bundles-9.x

https://download.eclipse.org/birt/update-site/4.9/
