I believe BIRT requires plugins from
the data tools platform project,  However there is no mention of this
requirement on the download page (http://download.eclipse.org/birt/downloads/).
 Is this an oversight?

From now on, ‘prototype.js’ must be copied to ‘org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer\birt\webcontent\birt\ajax\lib’ folder. If not, preview with web view will fail.
