Title: Newbie questions --> How to render Report out of JSF Application
Hi all!
I'm new to BIRT and I want to integrate a report into an JSF/MyFaces Application.
I have now studied the BIRT Homepage and several examples but I still have some questions and I hope you can answer.
Is it possible to start the rendering of a PDF Report out of my JSF Application by pressing a Button. Can I pass parameters to this report via pressing the button. If yes, how can I do that.
Do I need the Report Engine Installed on my tomcat?
Do you perhaps have a link to a good examples, which showns the integration of BIRT into a JSF Application?
