Hi,

A revised version 1.4 of the BPS35 Features Spec is now available on the BIRT Wiki page.
It has been updated to reflect the comments received, mainly to clarify the functionalities and usage.  The changes are red-lined in the document for ease of review.   They include:

• changed Report Engine API interface method name to setAppContext to be consistent;
• updated section 2.1 to add a recommended practice on what to use for a context Map’s key value;
• updated section 2.3 to clarify how BIRT uses the ODA setAppContext methods.

The Report Engine API method used by BIRT 2.0 BPS 35 - Pass-Through of External Context Objects to ODA is being changed in BIRT 2.0 Milestone 3.  The related Data Engine API method is proposed to change as well.
