Hi Shiby,

You should see the 'Finish' button enabled on the New Data Set dialog
box. Press the Finish button and that should bring up the Edit Data
Set
dialog box.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [birt-dev] query

Hi,

I was trying to learn how to use BIRT for our application.
I created a datasource successfully, but while creating the dataset it
didnt enable the "Next" button on the dataset definition screen.
So I couldnt specify a query for that dataset..
i am getting this error message when I click on the Preview Results
option of the dataset.
"Cannot get the result set metadata
SQL statement doesnt reurm a Result set object
ORA-01009 missing mandatory parameter
Reason: A BIRT exception occured"

Withpout creatring a dataset, I cant proceed with the report creation.
Some one pls respond quickly..I need it urgently..

Thanks in advance,
Shiby
