Hi,

It appears that the "Automatic Updates" preference page is missing a chunk of translations, at least in Spanish and French which I've looked at so far.

My Spanish translator has provided translations for these which I thought would be good to contribute into the Babel project, so you'll find them attached below [plugin org.eclipse.equinox.p2.ui.sdk.scheduler]. Hopefully he's done a good job! I should be able to supply them in French soon(ish) and possibly in German also if those are missing too.

Kind regards,
Justin Dolezy

I submitted an Eclipse Corner Article about Babel Pseudo Translations back
in January. Did some searching on the internet today. Just discovered that
it has been published!!!

This article provides step-by-step instructions and examples describing
what are the Babel Pseudo Translations, where to download them, how to
install them, and how to launch Eclipse in Babel Pseudo Translations.
Eclipse developers can use the Babel Pseudo Translations to verify the
translatability of their projects. Babel translators can use them to
identify the Eclipse project and file where strings come from. I think this
will be very useful to the Eclipse community. Read it at your leisure time!

Babel Language Packs R0.9.1 for Indigo, Helios, and Galileo release trains
are now available! Translations in all languages for all projects in Babel
up to November 28th, 2011 are included in R0.9.1.

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/babel_language_packs/R0.9.1/

We tested the Babel language packs in French, German, Japanese, and
Traditional Chinese for the Eclipse project, Equinox/p2, and a few other
projects on Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS X Tiger, SUSE Linux Enterprise
Server 10. Translation completeness for each language may vary. All
translated strings are displaying okay. No corrupted characters.

A few important notes for Babel Language Packs R0.9.1:
- Two releases of the Eclipse project (4.1 & 3.7) are included in the
Indigo release train. The Babel Indigo language packs for the Eclipse
project contain translations for both releases of the Eclipse project. They
can be used for both releases of the Eclipse project.
- An enhancement has been added to the Babel Language Pack Update Sites to
categorize the language packs by projects, in additional to categorizing by
languages. Users will be able to find language packs in all available
languages for a certain project easily.
- Babel Language Packs for older release trains can be found at Eclipse
Babel Project Archived Downloads.

Thanks to all the Babel translators for the contributions! Enjoy the
language packs!

I have tried using just a new workspace and does not solve the problem. Also when I removed the language pack (I reinstalled it yesterday to try finding the cause of the problems) and then created a new workspace, the problems were not fixed. I am now going to reinstall Eclipse completely and I will report the results.

Hello translators,

I have experienced a severe bug in the current nightly builds of the Dutch translations. I have not checked yet whether this bug also applies to other languages.
The problem is that if I, for example, press Ctrl+S in Eclipse to save the current file, instead of saving the file immediately, Eclipse shows a small window in the lower-right corner of the screen, with the only option being 'Opslaan' (Dutch for 'Save'). This is pretty annoying, because I every time I wanted to save something had to click on 'Opslaan' again after pressing the shortcut. The same applies for various other shortcuts, for example Ctrl+Z (undo) and Ctrl+Space (context help popup), but strangely enough not for all, for example Ctrl+I (correct indentation) and Alt+Shift+R (rename) still work well.
Another strange thing I saw was that the Window > Preferences option was disabled. Via a workaround I could however access the preferences dialog (Help > Install new software > Available software sites). If I did that, and chose for General > Keys, it said "An error has occurred. See error log for more details. No context available outside of the request service lifecycle." However, I could not find such an error log.
I was not convinced that the bug actually was caused by the Dutch language pack, so I tried uninstalling it. All problems were still there after removing all of the language packs, but I noticed something weird: when pressing Ctrl+S, the small window still contained the Dutch 'Opslaan' instead of 'Save'. This is very strange because the language packs are actually removed, and the remainder of the interface was, indeed, English again. (I also checked in the Installed software that the language packs were indeed removed.)
I have no clue at what might cause this strange behaviour. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have reinstalled Eclipse and the problems are gone, also if I use
the same workspace as before. I also kept my old installation for
testing purposes to figure out what actually went wrong. I am also
going to try to reproduce the problem with my new installation, as
to find out what is the cause of the problems.

Attached to this mail you will find a screenshot of the window. I
am using Eclipse 3.7.0; my OS is Kubuntu 11.10.
I have tried using just a new workspace and does not solve the
problem. Also when I removed the language pack (I reinstalled it
yesterday to try finding the cause of the problems) and then
created a new workspace, the problems were not fixed. I am now
going to reinstall Eclipse completely and I will report the
      results.
I have experienced a severe bug in the current nightly
builds of the Dutch translations. I have not checked yet
whether this bug also applies to other languages.
The problem is that if I, for example, press Ctrl+S in Eclipse to
save the current file, instead of saving the file
immediately, Eclipse shows a small window in the
lower-right corner of the screen, with the only option
being 'Opslaan' (Dutch for 'Save'). This is pretty
annoying, because I every time I wanted to save something
had to click on 'Opslaan' again after pressing the
shortcut. The same applies for various other shortcuts,
for example Ctrl+Z (undo) and Ctrl+Space (context help popup), but strangely enough not
for all, for example Ctrl+I (correct indentation) and Alt+Shift+R (rename)
              still work well.
Another strange thing I saw was that the Window >
Preferences option was disabled. Via a workaround I could
however access the preferences dialog (Help > Install
new software > Available software sites). If I did
that, and chose for General > Keys, it said "An error has occurred. See error log for more
details. No context available outside of the request
                service lifecycle." However, I
could not find such an error log.
I was not convinced that the bug actually was caused by
the Dutch language pack, so I tried uninstalling it. All
problems were still there after removing all of the
language packs, but I noticed something weird: when
pressing Ctrl+S, the small window still contained the Dutch
'Opslaan' instead of 'Save'. This is very strange because
the language packs are actually removed, and the remainder
of the interface was, indeed, English again. (I also
checked in the Installed software that the language packs
              were indeed removed.)
I have no clue at what might cause this strange behaviour.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Dear Kit Lo,

Attached to this mail you will find a screenshot of the window. I am
using Eclipse 3.7.0; my OS is Kubuntu 11.10.
I have tried using just a new workspace and does not solve the
problem. Also when I removed the language pack (I reinstalled it
yesterday to try finding the cause of the problems) and then created
a new workspace, the problems were not fixed. I am now going to
reinstall Eclipse completely and I will report the results.

Hi Willem,

I've never seen the small window in the lower-right corner of
What version of Eclipse were you using? 3.5, 3.6, or 3.7? Could
you try a fresh install of the English version of Eclipse AND

I have experienced a severe bug in the current nightly
builds of the Dutch translations. I have not checked yet
whether this bug also applies to other languages.
The problem is that if I, for example, press Ctrl+S in Eclipse to
save the current file, instead of saving the file
immediately, Eclipse shows a small window in the lower-right
corner of the screen, with the only option being 'Opslaan'
(Dutch for 'Save'). This is pretty annoying, because I every
time I wanted to save something had to click on 'Opslaan'
again after pressing the shortcut. The same applies for
various other shortcuts, for example Ctrl+Z (undo) and Ctrl+Space (context

              size="4">Ctrl+I (correct
indentation) and Alt+Shift+R (rename) still work well.
Another strange thing I saw was that the Window >
Preferences option was disabled. Via a workaround I could
however access the preferences dialog (Help > Install new
software > Available software sites). If I did that, and
chose for General > Keys, it said
            "An error
has occurred. See error log for more details. No context
available outside of the request service lifecycle." However, I could not find such an error log.
I was not convinced that the bug actually was caused by the
Dutch language pack, so I tried uninstalling it. All
problems were still there after removing all of the language
packs, but I noticed something weird: when pressing Ctrl+S, the small
window still contained the Dutch 'Opslaan' instead of
'Save'. This is very strange because the language packs are
actually removed, and the remainder of the interface was,
indeed, English again. (I also checked in the Installed
software that the language packs were indeed removed.)
I have no clue at what might cause this strange behaviour.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Willem,

I've never seen the small window in the lower-right corner of the screen. Could you provide a screen capture?

What version of Eclipse were you using? 3.5, 3.6, or 3.7? Could you try a fresh install of the English version of Eclipse AND use a NEW workspace? Once you provided more information, I will try to reproduce the problem here. Thanks!
Another strange thing I saw was that the Window > Preferences option was disabled. If I did that, and chose for General > Keys, it said "An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
Thanks in advance for any help.
example Ctrl+I (correct indentation) and Alt+Shift+R
      (rename) still work well.
Another strange thing I saw was that the Window > Preferences
option was disabled. Via a workaround I could however access the
preferences dialog (Help > Install new software > Available
software sites). If I did that, and chose for General > Keys,
it said "An error has occurred. See error log for more
details. No context available outside of the request service
lifecycle." However, I could not find such an error log.
I was not convinced that the bug actually was caused by the Dutch
language pack, so I tried uninstalling it. All problems were still
there after removing all of the language packs, but I noticed
something weird: when pressing Ctrl+S, the small window
still contained the Dutch 'Opslaan' instead of 'Save'. This is
very strange because the language packs are actually removed, and
the remainder of the interface was, indeed, English again. (I also
checked in the Installed software that the language packs were
      indeed removed.)
I have no clue at what might cause this strange behaviour. Thanks
      in advance for any help.
