Babel is in a maintenance mode. There are still interest in the Babel language packs that we produce. However, we don't have enough resources to perform any major development. I vote -1 for the effort to switch to OpenID.

There hasn't been much (any?) development on the Babel server code running at https://babel.eclipse.org in a long time.
We sometimes get login and account issues sent to the webmaster inbox, so I've upgraded the priority of :
Bug 463293 Babel should use OpenID
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=463293 I'm wondering how active Babel is, and if it's worth undertaking any new development?
Thoughts welcome.
