[babel-dev] questions about babel

Hi,

There are some folks that might be interested in using...and possibly 
customizing/extending...the Babel server codebase to do some 
community-based translation for their apps (also open source, but not 
Eclipse/RCP-based apps).

From a casual examination of the docs it seems this kind of thing was 
within the original intentions for the Babel server, but it's not clear 
from the docs where things are in this regard.   Have there been any 
non-Eclipse uses of the Babel server?   If not, is this something that 
the Babel committers would be interested in supporting?  If so, would 
you be able to prioritize contributions (perhaps from me, perhaps from 
others) along these lines?
