Alan, the font used depends on the OS and on the language used by the user.

In GMF, you need to change the default font for japanese, as this is not changed automatically if I remember correctly.

In general, there is no need for a localization of the font as it will be guessed depending on the environment I think ; I don't know much more than that.

I am developing a plug-in with Eclipse and have gotten to the localisation stage of the project. The text can be localised fine using properties files and resource bundles. I am wondering about the font which is used to display to the text. Will the default Java font render all languages correctly or is there a need to use a different one, What is the standard procedure with this, i.e. is there something equivalent to a fonts.properties file that can be used with the text properties file.
