Re: [auto-iwg] Topics for meeting on 16th February

Dear all,

as input for agenda item 1, Status of Automotive distribution, I've updated the content of the wiki pages for work package 1: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Auto_IWG_WP1

It is detailing the background and ideas behind the new "Eclipse IDE for Automotive Software Developers" that we have submitted last week (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=369763). Any feedback is very welcome, as much in our next meeting as via this mailing list.

The current state does not yet honor the idea of adding OSEE to the Automotive IDE as suggested by Jyothi in an earlier post. I'd suggest that we look into this and discuss the idea in our next meeting (agenda item 4, tentative: OSEE Autmotive introduction) and then update the wiki content depending on the outcome of the discussion.

Kind regard,

Stephan
