[aspectj-users] AOP Patent?

I just found this patent when crawling around the web:

Basically it's define what is Aspect Oriented Programming. Does that patent meant if we want to use Aspect concept in our development (or AspectJ), meant we need to ask permission because of the patent?

I have no idea about patent, so sorry for this random question.
