[aspectj-users] AJDT 2.1.1

Hi all,

The AJDT team is pleased to announce the release of AJDT 2.1.1.  In
this release, we have focussed on AspectJ-aware searching and
refactoring.  The new and noteworthy contains a catalog of
refactorings known to work, as well as those that are known not to
work inside of AspectJ files.  For all the details, please see

This release includes AspectJ 1.6.10.

You can install AJDT 2.1.1 from the following update sites:

AJDT 2.1.1 will also be included in the upcoming STS 2.5.0 release.

ps- if you are particularly peeved that a certain refactoring is not
working for you inside AJ files, then please mention it on this list,
or raise a bug for it.  We have chosen to focus on the refactorings
that we believe to be the most widely used (in practice, that meant
working on the refactorings that we personally use, rather than doing
a scientific study about them).
